    Steve King

Steve King is an associate member of the Reel Bass Adventures Guide Service.

Steve began fishing for smallmouth bass in the 60's as a youngster on the tributaries of Lake Ontario in Rochester, N.Y. Since hooking his first smallmouth bass, Steve has been hooked on fishing for these hard fighting fish ever since. Since his early youth, Steve has lived near many smallmouth bass rivers and has become an expert on smallmouth habitats and has developed effective techniques for catching these brown bass that work on almost any river where you find them. Now calling central Maryland home, Steve has easy access to the upper Potomac River and the Susquehanna River, and can usually be found on one of these great rivers year round.

Steve's affiliation with the Maryland B.A.S.S. Federation and his tournament experience throughout the Mid-Atlantic has given him a well rounded knowledge of both river and lake smallmouth habits. Steve is a licensed freshwater guide, and has been featured in Bassmaster Magazine, Skoal Outdoors Magazine, The Washington Times, and other local periodicals, where both his fishing ability as well as guide proficiency has received excellent reviews. In addition, Steve writes articles for several e-publications, and is a Field Editor for Rippn-lip.com, where Steve shares his knowledge of the smallmouth bass with others who wish to pursue this great fish.

Steve's fully equipped bass boat has been designed specifically for shallow rocky rivers like the Susquehanna and upper Potomac rivers and their tributaries, and this boat is functional and offers comfortable fishing for his customers.
